Claim compensation for an accident at work

Each year there are millions at accidents all over the UK and a portion of these accidents occur at work through no fault of those suffering. If you have suffered an accident at work that was not your fault then you may be able to claim compensation. A much easier way to pursue any compensation that may rightfully be yours is to allow someone to work on your behalf through a no win, no fee claim. All the work needed to make a claim against the workplace and if you do not win your claim, there is nothing to pay out.

There are many different types of accident at work. Some of the most common ones occur through tripping and slipping. Usually this could be in the instance where packaging has been left on the floor or the floor been wet and not sign posted. Any of these two scenarios could result in any nasty trip or slip that may leave you severely injured. Workers have been known to break bones, damage ligaments and suffer back injuries through this type of accident at work.

Another common type of injury that occurs in the workplace in falling. This is typically related to object falling. For instance shelving that has been stacked inappropriately may topple over. Items may fall from it or anything not stacked properly or secured may fall onto you. Again there can be some very serious injuries from these types of accidents that may mean you have to take many months off work.

There is of course mechanical and machinery accidents. Machinery has to be checked in the workplace, but unfortunately there are times when they may malfunction. If machinery malfunctions, especially in industrial workplaces, they can be devastating and sometimes deadly.

If you have been the unfortunate victim of any type of accident at work, you may be entitled to claim for compensation
