According to new research, fraudulent insurance claims, including claims for personal injury and whiplash claims, have costs British motorists on their car insurance. Fraudulent claims have apparently cost motorists as much as £150 each per year on their insurance policies.
The report has shown that as much as £66 from the extra £150 that motorists are having to pay on their car insurance is as a direct result of fraudulent whiplash claims, which is one of the most common form of personal injury claims in a car accident.
A poll conducted by the Environmental Transport Association has revealed that motorists are more worried about uninsured drivers damaging their car than any other form of accident.
