When you suffer an accident that was the fault of someone else, and you have been injured from that accident, you are able to make a claim for compensation from the guilty party. All you need to make your claim is an admission of liability from the person who injured you. This could be from the driver of another car, the owner of a shop or even from the council.

Once you have suffered an accident you should contact a personal injury lawyer. Choose one that offers no win no fee as this way you won’t have to spend any of your own money in making a claim. Once you have done this, they will arrange for you to meet with a specialist who will assess your injuries. Their report will determine how badly injured you are and as such how much you are able to claim.

Even if you don’t feel badly injured, you make be suffering from whiplash and could require physio for your injuries. All of this treatment would be paid for by the insurance company of the guilty party.

Your personal injury lawyer will handle everything for you and once the claim has been settled you will receive compensation for the injuries that you have sustained.
