West Ham United football club has claimed for injury compensation after their player, Carlton Cole, was injured playing for England. Cole featured in England’s 4-0 friendly victory over Slovakia, but left the field with an injury after playing for just 20 minutes.
Cole received a groin injury in the game, and will be missing for West Ham for six weeks. His absence will be felt by the London outfit as Cole has been in great form this season, scoring 11 goals.
